Clock Lord

Many people today forego the timeless practice of carrying a watch because of the convenience and accuracy that cell phone clocks provide. As soon as you turn on the device, satellites send a signal to your phone and adjust the timekeeping device according to the time zone you are in. These clocks even will calibrate for Daylight Savings and other anomalies in timekeeping.

You can employ this same technology in your own home. An atomic clock utilizes various satellites to sync with an actual atomic clock (for most readers, it is probably the one in Colorado). Not only does this eliminate the need to change or wind your clocks, but it also ensures that everyone is keeping the same time.

A clock is a very important instrument in our home as it tells us the time.  Clocks come in a variety of sizes.  Some are small and the others can be really huge.  But my favorite is a wall clock.  In fact, I have a lot of them at home.  I’m the type of person who’s always on the go, and this means that I always need to know what time it is.  The most important wall clocks for me are the kitchen wall clocks.
 
As we cook, we always look at the kitchen wall clock to determine the time we have for boiling meat and the overall cooking of a viand.  It is very important to have a clock specially for baking.  Overdoing the cake can have a bad outcome.  You can choose the designs you want.  You can have a choice of vegetables, fruits or even animals to complement your kitchen design. Because accurate timing is so crucial, I will only use an atomic wall clock in the kitchen.

When purchasing a new clock the design and visual appeal are important, but the most crucial element of any timepiece is keeping good time. Analog and digital clocks do an adequate job, but atomic clocks keep the most accurate time known to man. These clocks are so accurate that they are the measure used to set standard times around the world. Atomic clocks use the signals that electrons in atoms emit to maintain the most precise time measurements imaginable.

Because of their accuracy, atomic clocks are used in a variety of ways including the control of TV signals and coordination of satellites. This amazing technology is now available in home clock models, which have built in receivers that calibrate themselves with an atomic clock. Although many of these models are advertised as “atomic clocks,” it really just indicates the way in which they are calibrated.

Despite the implications of the title of this post, it’s not about an office that uses nuclear power, emits radiation, or has radioactive waste!  No, instead we’re talking about the importance of having an atomic clock in the office.  How often do those employees sneak out a few minutes early, or come in a few minutes late?  With certain clocks, this can be happening and supervisors won’t even know it!  It’s important to have an atomic wall clock in the office to maintain an accurate gauge of the time, and to monitor all those people who show up late or leave early just a little too often. 

Who knows, you might even catch a time culprit you never would have suspected.  It’s also good to have an atomic wall clock so that those tricky employees can’t set it a few minutes faster or slower for their own benefit!
